Dash & Lily's Book of Dares

Twenty eleven seems to be the year for horrible writers, I have suffered through scattered plots, careless word choice, and horrible grammar (and it's only June). I know your thinking I'm a hypocrite, I am horrible at grammar; but I don't have an editor like most authors and I am not published.

You must be expecting me to rip Rachel Cohn and David Levithan, authors of Dash & Lily's Book of Dares to pieces after that introduction, am I right? Of Course I'm Right, but reader you are wrong! Dash and Lily's Book of Dares has rescued Twenty eleven, this novel is wonderfully written (except for a few grammar and word choice possibilities). Dash, a sixteen year old boy who stumbles across an enchanting notebook. He is a bookish boy, truthfully a boy after my own heart, he loves words and loves to read. Lily, is a charismatic, Christmas loving, bouncy teenage girl seeking adventure. Lily leaves the notebook in a local bookstore hoping a boy would come along and play her "game". Dash finds the notebook, intrigued, he follows the instructions. Little did he know, this game would take him on a journey that will help Lily and him find their true selves and maybe even find love. I deeply enjoyed this book, and highly recommend it.

Dash & Lily's Book of Dares earns FOUR STARS

I recently ran into David Levithan, co-author of Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, at a Conference! I happened to have my book with me and he signed it for me! :D
